Today is a very important day for us here at Mentegram. Today, we released new patient-level reports. For all of you, this is an important way to view and analyze your clients / patients’ progress through assessments and screens. Further, this is a key component to allow psychologist and psychiatrists to get reimbursed for using Mentegram.

These reports allow you to build a report of the screening and assessment results for each of your clients / patients. If your clients are monitoring their depression and substance use, or anxiety and work stress, you can see these scores side by side, and see how they have been changing over time. You can also include interpretation note and integrate these results with additional information you have about the client / patient, such as their responses to other instruments you have distributed through Mentegram.

Finalize report, or directly export them in PDF format.

Finalize report, or directly export it in PDF format.

When you’re done, you can finalize the report and even export it as a PDF or plain-text data for import into your EHR or practice management software. Neat!

Insurance Billing

For the Clinical Psychologists and Psychiatrists, and those working in organizations supervised by psychologists or psychiatrists, these reports have been built specifically to allow you to bill for the Mentegram services. We have added a new section to our support page that outlines the compliance criteria for your insurance coding. We continue to build more capability into Mentegram, to support your work flows. Stay tuned for more excited updates.

We continue to refine the user experience of our Clinical Dashboard. Today we released a much-requested feature to our private library, and made other small changes.

Private Library Template Editing

After out last-week’s update when we enabled users on the Professional or Premium account to add new templates to their private library, today we also enabled editing of existing templates in the private library. You will see the grey “EDIT” button right next to the usual Preview and Use buttons.

Improved Mobile View

Many of you use Mentegram on your tablets and smartphones. Our dashboard has been “responsive,” in other words usable on a small screen, for a while, but the experience has not been stellar. We continue to  refine the way the dashboard looks and works on small screens. The Client View has been cleaned up, icons have been realigned, and other elements now take up less space when viewed on small devices.

As always, small things can make your usage of Mentegram joyful, or dreadful. We continue to refine the experience so you enjoy the time you spend using our interface.

Today, we made another, much requested change to Mentegram Clinical Dashboard: we turned therapy notes into a major feature. Therapy notes have been present as a minor feature since last fall, and as you began using them more often, you began letting us know how to make them better and more useful. Today we release the requested features.

View and add notes straight from the list of your active clients / patients.

First, you can assign a therapy note to a client / patient or to a measurement / questionnaire assigned to that client. Second, the notes include common preset templates that help you write your notes more effectively. Finally, therapy notes can now be accessed directly from the client / patient list, so that you can get to writing a note quicker.

See for yourself!

We have also made minor changes to the webapp, improving its usability and looks. If your clients or patients lack smartphones, or if you’d like to use Mentegram in inpatient or PHP settings, have a look!

Questions and Answers:

Q: How can I see all the notes I have written for a client or patient?

A: Easy, there are two ways actually! First, from the list of your clients, click the green “view notes” button on the right. Alternatively, from the client overview page, click Notes from the left-hand menu.

Q: How do I attach a note to a specific questionnaire or assessment?

A: This is how: go to the questionnaire or assessment to which you want to provide context, and click the “Add Note” button on top right corner. You’ll see that the note written here will show in the main Notes view.

Q: Can I attach a note to a specific data entry?

A: That is not possible at the moment. If this is something you’d like to see added in the future, please reach out at

We are happy to announce a great new feature for users of our private library feature. Until now, only Mentegram staff could populate your private library — that changed today. We just rolled out a new feature that allows you to add questionnaires and other items to your private library directly.

This is how you do it:

Questions and Answers:

Q: I am on Standard plan, how can I begin using private library?

A: Private library is only enabled for users of our Professional and Premium plans. However, we are happy to let you try it for free. Just email us at and let us know.

Q: I work for an organization, how can I add an item to our organization library.

A: We are working on giving you this opportunity as well. Until then, Mentegram staff is happy to do it for you. Contact us at and we will add the item to your organization’s library

There’s no shortage of niche companies who promise a way to boost user experience and help build relationships by offering an interactive support widget. They stress that it’s easily installed and lifts your customer service out of the dark ages, but what about security? If a third-party application suffers a breach, then it may also compromise the system(s) where it was so easily installed.

This is why we, here at Mentegram, chose to roll up our sleeves and develop our own. Since our goal was to provide a link to our support team from the dashboard, it would have been a mistake to allow any third-party software into such a sensitive area. This is especially true considering that such an app would likely need to interact with a central server, accessed by each of its other current users. Not only would a third- Read more

Wouldn’t it be great to have a phone with infinite battery life; one that could never be lost, stolen, or ruined during an unexpected ride through the laundry? Frankly, yes it would. However, until that technology arrives, the simple truth is that everyone will occasionally find themselves without a phone.

To cope with these sporadic lapses of mobile connectivity, Mentegram has developed a new web application for clients to use to track their experiences. The new app is intended as a temporary backup to minimize the tracking data that is lost, when a client’s phone becomes unavailable. Read more

When we launched last fall, we launched only with an app for Android devices. Although Android is a fine platform with many users, from the onset it was clear that we needed to also build and app for the iPhone. We worked diligently to bring our iPhone users the same polished experience we delivered on Android, and today delivered. We are happy to announce that our  iPhone app is live on the App Store. Another milestone reached, so many more exciting things ahead.

It is not every day you get to click a button and all of sudden something about the world is different. Today we pressed one such button. We published Youcgonize App in the Google Play store. It is there, public, and available for all of you to use. Today was a good day.
